I have an Ovation Celebrity GC 28. I'm going to sell this so I can upgrade to a better USA Ovation. Before I do that I need the "recepticle" (canistar that the preamp snaps in to). Mine is missing screws and flaps to hold it in place so it just falls out if you turn the guitar upside down..

i've tried to order the part from Ovation but they wont sell to me and Guitar Center is having a hard time because they have no idea what i'm talking about....

Does anyone know how I can order this part? Otherwise, I guess I will bring the guitar to GC and let them handle it.

Actually, if all you're missing is the tabs & screws; those are easy to fabricate, if you have a little craftsmanship, and a tap-&-die set.
The tabs are a 3/8-by-1-inch piece of 3/16-inch plastic, female-threaded for a #4-40, 1-inch machine screw, bored off-center, to "flip" into position, as the screw draws the tab into the bowl.
Oh heck, just take it to GC.

Or.... maybe just get a IDea preamp. (and in a perfect world a new guitar as well)
