I thought Ovations were supposed to be plastic pieces of junk?

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | Hey Now! I buy crap from MF all the time.
They have 83 Ovation products listed, Including six Adamii...
Five 30th Anny and one ME.
Plus their share of Celebrity's and Applause Ukes.
:p Speaking of Plastic Pieces of Junk... I just took my Academy out for a Test Flight.
It sounded okay with the stick-on soundboard transducer pickup.
Unfortunately, None of the Ovation Lovers came by so that I could brag about the Plastic guitar.
It is still nice weather out...
But when it is 39 degrees and raining the Academy will do just fine! |

I just thought it was interesting to see an ad with one of our own on it that wasn't an Ovation ad.
Oh yeah, I saw a finger picking how-to book at the guitar store today (that doesn't have any Ovations except for a beat-up Matrix & Applause not on the seles floor) with Ovations on the cover.
A white Custom Legend, a burst Eleite and two othr round-holed O's.
The cover andthe book was interesting but not enough for $15.99 |
