Location: Phoenix AZ | This isn't mine but I saw it on ebay. An old sunburst winged bridge Balladeer from about '69-70. These were the sweet ones before the VT debacle. Looks a little beat up, but that wouldn't worry me. It took almost 25 years before they came up with anything that sounded better. Hope someone here can grab it.

Location: Phoenix AZ | Just my opinion ... In the early 70's they introduced a whole range of bracing patterns called VT. It pretty muched sucked the life out of a great instrument. Ironically at the same time they pioneered the acoustic/electric revolution so they still attracted millions of fans and a very impressive artist endorsee list. But the acoustic sound really played second fiddle to the wooden guitars out there. Then came K-bars, supershallow bowls, etc. and basically a very dark period for those of us craving a real acoustic guitars. Thankfully they have slowly but surely peeled back the onion and simultaneously returned to what got the company on the map in the first place while still pushing the technology to the very edge.
