| Hi
I went to an estate auction Sunday and came away with an Ovation model 1621-4. It is in excellent-like new shape, and a welcome addition to my other guitars. The only thing that was wrong with it was that the battery holder needed to be replaced. I ordered the necessary parts from Stewart-MacDonald and soon hopefully will have it going.
Can anyone give me any information on this model? I didn't find anything on the Ovation site. I believe it was manufactured somewhere in the mid 70's to mid 80's??
Any information or opinions at all would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ovation website info on 1621
Check your serial number against what's in the Reference section here at the OFC if you're trying to pin down when it was made. |

Look HERE for info on your model. Congrats.
I'd love to have one in sunburst. Nice guitars! |

If you have the serial number sticker on the inside of the bowl, the "reference" button up above will let you know the year of manufacture.
Also... Here is the Ovation Homepage listing for 1621.
[And it seems that you have a half-dozen answers in the time it took me to type mine! :D ] |
