Location: Phoenix AZ | Paul, I'm intrigued with this - tell me more! Does it have a pu in it? Can I ask what you paid for yours? Looks like it could be used in an emergency as a canoe paddle (ha ha). I tried one of the Martin backpackers in a shop and thought it was an absolute piece of rubbish. I've heard Takamine also makes a travel guitar. But this Ovation thing-a-ma-bob seems kind of wierd in its own cool way. Dave |

My wife got it for me a couple of Xmas' ago. No pickup, but I've often thought of putting a thinline in it just for grins. She paid, I think, between $2-300.
It's a funky little guitar. When you play it it sounds like shit. When you listen to somebody else play it, it sounds decent. You've got to be in front of it to appreciate it. |
