With the exception of the Adamas line, Ovation has used ebony boards almost exclusively on the USA line.

In the mid 1980's Ovation started using rosewood on the Elites (finerboards), and then started using rosewood on the balladeer's in the 90's.

Right on Paul, forgot about that...I even had an '89 Elite for 10 years and it was indeed, rosewood.
