I found out about them during the OFC Tour back in May, and was really impressed by them. I like the fact that the stand doesn't touch any part of the guitar, other than the neck/headstock area of it.

No, I mean it. Don't touch that keyboard. He's already in the car and on his way to GC to buy a Hercules. He is.... Really. Hercules. Way to go.

I used t'gig with 'em, but after a while of repeated folding/unfolding, it ends up taking more & more hand-torque to the knob to get 'em to STAY. The Genesis stands by Ultimate are good as they go up/down real easy and collapse into a neat lil' package. At gigs, I use a Hercules double stand with a mic boom grafted to the top and a couple of the Ultimate's if I bring more than two guitars.

It is a little tight on a wideneck, but nothing compares to it for a secure hold and easy pickup. Yeah ... it cost more, but what are your instruments worth to you? I'll bet the first time you have one fall and crack your guitar, you're gonna say ... I wish I would have spent the extra money.
