ahhh...the butterfly effect...
we all make a difference in the world, even if, we aren't aware of the difference we're makin'...

Tell, Mrs. StandingO, that I simply cannot live without a handcrafted, 4 weight, Winston split-Tonkin cane, bamboo flyrod...

That should be good for a Koa Teardrop Slothead.

or better yet...this will get you well into the vintage Martin market...

BF232 E. F. Payne 7'6" 3/2 Model 197 Written on the hang tag is the weight, 4 oz. and the order number is 20765. This indicates this rod was crafted in the late 1960's by Jim Payne. The guides are wrapped with brown silk, tipped with yellow. The ferrules are blued nickel silver and have ferrule plugs. DF cork grip. The uplocking Spanish cedar insert reel seat has aluminum fittings. Included are the original cloth bag with hang tag and brass capped tube. This rod is in excellent plus condition and was made for Abercrombie & Fitch. $4,995.

At least with light explosives you have to get close... say, 20 to 30 yards....

Perhaps. That way they'd be in a coma before they got a look at you.

Only one question here - How do I get you two boys to meet my mother in law? And you can save on the chloroform by using the shovel twice if you'd like.

Is this an appropriate time to point out the obvious benefits of a durable lyrachord guitar body?

Weaser - I love the way your mind works.

Bongo Boy - the (English) bro-in-law started teaching the kids to fish last week. They love it. I shall be posting them to you for further lessons. I do not need any new hobbies that require me to start buying gear.

Thanks, Schroeder, but I think that listening to all those voices we all have in our heads is very underrated. It's just that one I try to stay away from...the one they all call "Cliffy". Shhh...don't wake him.

And, yes, it should go without saying (although I will anyway) that it's wonderful to have you back on the keys, Mr. S.

I am with you tonight under the influence of 3 different drugs, 2 of which are what we call "Class A" over here. The third one would get you banned from any track meet in the western world.

I like a cocktail in the evening.

So, what you're saying is that you're now officially a classa guy. Another perch in this tree of life I'm apparently meant to see from below. Seems every time I get climbing, another pooch comes by and washes me back down.

But I digress...
