Other than a few cheques I'm still waiting on from CANADA !!! everything has been sent out. Including some bulk shipments to France and some USA members who for reasons unknown appear to want to set up their own distribution networks. A batch was sent to the Ovation Factory and individual orders to Germany, UK, Norway, Italy, Japan and Austraila. Total orders excluding the freebies = 103 CD's. That's about 50% more than last year. Thanks to everyone for making this a fun project. Dave

That didn't work, so I bought a bunch of Ovations instead. This new one will inspire me for a couple weeks and then I'll go back to the old attitude: "What the hell, I'll never be as good as those guys."

Sometimes I think Canada Post is in business for themselves and skims all the good stuff. So far I have a guitar, the members night out cd, and the calandar in transit between the US and Canada. Is the border still open?

I don't want to offend any postal workers we may have on this board, so let me just say that as a private company that had to actually compete for business and provide customer satisfaction, they'd be out of business in a week. On a brighter note, I did ship you Stephen a second CD on Friday. There are a few others still waiting, including MOTY Phil - how's that for an insult. Hang in there and let me know in a few days if you're still high and dry. Dave

Usually stuff from AZ shows up either next day or within 2 days....that's why this is so frustrating. I think there is some damn Martin/Taylor USPS employee that is trying to stop the spread of good music on outstanding instruments. Oh well.....hopefully the 2nd shipment will arrive on Monday/Tuesday.

But the thing that strikes me is the overall production values that are going into these recordings. If I have a hope of getting on the next edition, I need to brush up on my recording methods.
