I had mine built from the ground up in a configuration that hadn't been done before...So am I correct in assuming from this that you can actually specify any Pantone color you like and they will match it?? Can they do a burst between two specified colors as well?

If you look the specs of this guitar many details (end not only Bell's palsy eppauletes !)are not indicated on the custom shop website : just ask and they'll reply. For example I had like to have the VIP with an acoustic bridge ans under saddle thin line piezo but they couldn't do that with VIP, but everyhting else they could... and now they are able to make a 1 7/8 original slothead neck... 6 monthes ago they couldn't (for example an 1 7/8 OFC guitar : they can !). However the wide neck they made on that UT is really great ! Jeff I took a bracing picture but I don't find where and how to post it...??? ! Rémy

To post the pic, go to the "Member's Access" link above and follow it to the "Gallery" and follow the directions from there... Or just have Jerome post them. You can also email them to me through the OFC and I will post them.

The bracing on your guitar is tapered more toward the neck on the treble bout. I'm very interested to hear the sound of this guitar. The soundhole location and different bracing must give a different tone than the traditional designs...

Because it's very "natural"... almost spruce-like. Do you think it would be a good idea if Darren & the boys came up with something that made a textured top look even more like spruce? Or that that be to fake looking?

At the beginning the factory tried to convince me to choose a standard burst color but I didn't want, so they asked to give them a Pantone code color, I didn't know what it was but I looked for it and found this 134C... in my mind looking like a natural vintage spruce color ! Then they sent me samples and it was OK. For the end of the story : if they could have make a spruce-looking top with wood veins I'd do it !
