I have always wondered what sort of doctor he might be, and why his guitars are always for sale - but never seem to sell.

I came in after that whole deal, so I don't really know the full deal. Probably best not to go there.

He could be a PhD instead of an MD -- but, you know, PhD just means Piled Higher and Deeper.

This is a situation that's just better left alone. I've got better things to do with my time then deal with people like Dr. He He.

I received an email fron Peter Cree trying to give ways to disturb Dr. Elias G. Argyris - Dr. He He? Didn't he just sell an original Slothead to a land far, far away?

I don't agree with the methods, especially if he is attention seeking. I will stay out of it and play this beautiful Custom Legend 12 string I just pulled out of a box via UPS from New Jersey!

I'm going away for a little while, excuse me. Better things to do you know! :D

Leave it, he'll crawl back into his hole until he's given another opportunity, so don't give him one. I cannot believe that a person can be so impotent they get off by stirring up crap on internet message boards. Pathetic & embarrasing.

It seems like this "troll" has a history here. I don't even want to know. I will say that when I hear the name "Dr. HeHe", I picture yet another master criminal from the old Batman series.

I agree with all said. I read the Acoustic Guitar Thread......bad vibes there....Some guys seemed open minded...but for the most part...negativity oriented.

I like this board...because altho I have been playing the guitar for 45 years and have owned ovations since 69/70,(also own martins/guild/gretsch/fender) I still feel humbled by what I don't know...when I listen to most of the folks on this board. Everytime I have asked a guitar question, I've received help and good advice. Thanks to Jeff/PM/PT/SC/TC/GD and all of the rest I missed. I appreciate being part of the board.

Slap, I have to disagree with you. Generally speaking, the other board is not all that negative. I've learned a lot about guitars and tonewoods there. Also, many have offered some good advice in the playing guitar section as well on that board. There are usually a few strong negatives about Ovation which is why I stated that initial post. I've also heard people state strong negatives on Martin, Taylor, and Gibson there ( it can get a bit confrontational if you take it too seriously), but that board has quite a few people who spend incredible amounts on equipment. So guitars in the Ovation price range can get the short shrift anyway. People do not have to like Ovations in order to have a valid point of view. Also, several first rate luthiers inhabit that board and offer interesting points of view as builders, instead of just players. Many good people on that board just as there are here.
