Joined: April 2004 Posts: 13303 Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | Just personal thoughts but the 1581 ReIssue blows away the original 1581 because of the better 2-knob electronics. That said if you only care about the acoustic sound there is probably not much difference. 1681 is a sweet guitar and I have owned a couple but I really prefer the sound and flexibility of the cutaway models. | ||

Of course, some drug sniffing customs dog could have torn it apart. I've heard that drugs are sometimes smuggled in bundles of coffee, So I've heard. :cool: Thanks again for passing on the Ovation history book with such style. I think you've started a tradition, I'll have to think of a regional delicacy to include with the book when I pass it on. | ||
