That's really too bad, Jeff. I think we all know how estatic you were to grab that one. What's your next move?

Uhm...stealing. (from a friendly source)

Don't worry about using them. Everytime you do, the servers that they are hosted on harvest our privte information so they can send us spam....

This is a test.

This is only a test.
Test complete.

Borrowing from one source is plaigarism. Borrowing from many sources is research.

Wow Jeff, sorry to hear about your crack.

Good luck with the guitar too.

Does it effect the playability and sound? Is it just cosmetic or is it a structual problem?

Yeah, 3 pages of posts and nobody went there? Must have been too much green beer.

No,

This "was" a serious thread. I mean c'mon, what'd he expect from a wooden piece of junk like that!? No stability at all!! I was going to blame the D'add pro arte strings, but it's clearly an inferior instrument problem.

Jeff, you even called it a "POS" in your first post. You should just send it away and try to forget about it. If it were a new Adamas, it would have had a lifetime warranty which you would have never needed .... :D :p :D :p

Needless to say the initial shock has worn off and after we all got done crying for you and playing "our loved ones", we're ready to let you have it.

The shock and distress is passed. It's time to heal my crack. I'm not completely convinced it was a result of lack of moisture. It's not showing other obvious signs of being excessively dry... but, for now, that's the working hypothesis.

Dizzy, I appreciate your sensitivity. My crack ain't pretty, but it still works perfectly and sounds beautiful.

We'll give it some first aid for a while to see what happens. It's funny, but I have this strange urge to send it to Fred .

So Jeff, are you gonna fill your crack with ebony dust and superglue?

Actually, I took a tour of the Taylor factory last September while I was on vacation and got the skinny on how it works. I'm sure that they're not the only ones who have the stuff to do that.

My guess is that the crack was not caused by any action by Jeff. Nylons probably don't have the force to break healthy top wood. Sometimes they crack naturally. If the guitar sounds good, no worries.
