Sooooo... many many years ago when I was young and very foolish, I traded in a sweet Thunderhead on a Takamine 12 string. Must have been 30 years ago now in a tiny guitar shop outside of Medford Oregon called John's Guitars. I have been regretting it for at least 25 of those 30 years now. What I wouldn't give to have that guitar back! Anyhow, I am currently destitute (wife has terminal cancer and I have been unemployed for 4 years) but I am hoping my fortunes are due to change for the better. Anybody know how much a Thunderhead would go for now or if any ever come up for sale?

David,
Sorry to hear how things are going brother!
But as often comes up on this site there is always hope and the possibilities that music and a reconnection with certain instruments can bring!

Don't be a stranger and maybe we'll see you at a PNW Gathering this Summer (whatever week that is).

Wow, that looks almost identical to the one I had. Mine was a burgundy color with gold hardware and said "Deluxe" on the peghead. I paid $175 for the guitar WITH a Kustom 50 amp... wish I had both now!
