"Dave:
So where did you get all of those GC TRC's that you have on most of your O's?"
Reminded me that I still have the GC 12 string 1118 that 'ol "Hessy" sold me... with the plain black TRC...
I can't remember who promised a Glen Campbell Truss Rod cover, no matter...
Does anyone have ONE for sale???
Any chance of picking one up at the Mother Ship while I'm on the tour???
Any suggestions, Dave ???

Location: Phoenix AZ | Actually I do have a GC truss rod cover available. Give me $2000. for the guitar and I'll throw in the TRC for free. ha ha
Honestly, sorry but all mine are spoken for. Try asking the factory. Last I new they had some of the Thunderhead sized ones. Slightly shorter than the acoustic guitars, but you can make them fit by making a new screwhole in the headstock. The TRC is just barely long enough to cover the old hole.

Location: Central Florida | I think the difference in the TRC sizes had more to do with when they changed the pitch of the headstock (circa 1974-'75) than what models they were put on. About ten years ago, I was able to obtain a small supply of shorter GC truss rod covers from Ovation (all are since long gone). Anyway, I found that they fit perfectily on older Ovation acoustics with the steeper HS angle, but as Dave (StandingO) pointed out, came up silghtly short on O's built after the change in pitch. Conversely, I've ordered plain TRC's from the factory and all of them have been the longer versions.
