I seem to remember seeing a 1/8” mic input jack on a OpPro or OpPro Studio can once. Am I remembering something that wasn’t really there?, or does anyone know of that existing and or for what purpose? The only thing I could come up with was The ADII Custom Legend and that little solo button they had on them. Any ideas? It WOULD be pretty cool if a condenser mic could be incorporated in the mix.????

Well even though nobody chimed in, I found the answer online… There is no input to the OpPro Studio.??. I sure would like to have mic to mix with the piezo?? One other option is to jerry-rig an LRBaggs Anthem install, but I don’t want to modify the guitar that much. I’ll stick with the OpPro Studio, since it at least simulates those options The rest can be tweaked through my LR Baggs acoustic pedals

Mixing in a mic poses some problems. The Ovation preamp output is already amplified and should be low impedance though I haven't seen a spec for it. A mic would be high impedance and low voltage. Mixing those would be problematic.

The VIP preamps digitally simulate a mic blended in. My opinion is that it doesn't do much for the wood topped Ovations. I do really like the VIP in Adamas though.
