Location: Cypress, TX | Feeling stupid. I popped the old battery out without noticing polarity. I've searched my owner's manual, the preamp manual, and this forum's FAQs and don't see how to orient the replacement. The internal contacts are flat and not shaped. Will someone who has this preamp set me straight? Thanks in advance. |

I am guess that you guitar has one of this Slide-Open battery compartments...
I do not currently have an OP-X, but I have owned one before. With a sliding cover.
If you put the battery in the wrong way, and it Should Not damage your preamp... It just won't work.
It has been almost an hour....
I am guessing that you already have it fixed by now.

Location: Cypress, TX | Thank you. I was concerned about possible damage as I’m prepping this Legend 1866 12 string for sale. |
