| Hello, I am looking for the value of a Ovation Adamas millennium that is in mint condition. I received a call from my father today with regards to his guitar that he bought a while back and had difficulty finding information on. He told me that the gentleman he purchased it from told him it was the only one made which was purple. While trying to find more info on the guitar he was surprised to find out that there were only around 75 millenniums made, not sure if this is correct or not. I would like to see what everyones thought on its value might be and whether the color helps or hurts its value?
Thank you,
Michael |

But there is one on eBay right now asking $8,500.
I think that if this was Antiques Roadshow, it would be worth more.
At least for Insurance, I would insure it for over $10K.
Cuz they are never gonna make another one of these guitars.
Even if they were re-issued it would be the same.
After all, Pluto isn't a Planet anymore.
These tend to sell for cheaper because I only read about it on eBay, Reverb or Craigslist.
But if one of these was sold by Southerby's I am sure that it wouldn't go for eBay or OFC prices.
And I still wanna see photos of a purple Millennium.
