I'm considering adding a Prestige 330 (from JJBELECTRONICS) piezo bridge plate pickup to my Ovation Elite LX. With that access port on the guitar's back doing so would be extremely easy. I've already turned a very inexpensive Great Divide dreadnought into a beautiful sounding powerhouse instrument with that pickup. Question I have is, does any one know of some kind of switch that I could use to select between the normal Ovation OP-PRO that is now in the guitar and the new one? If it was small enough I could even access the switch through one of the larger inlay holes in the guitar's top. These are easy to accessible from the back. Getting fancy I could conceive of some method to select either pickup alone or even the two in series or in parallel.

What are you switching?

IOW, are you wanting the change where the jack is pointing so that with the switch in one position it's using the the stock OP-Pro and in the other position it's using the Prestige 330?

Or, are you wanting to switch which pickup the OP-Pro is using?

I don't see why not. If both preamps are independent, all you would need is an on/on switch prior to the output jack. However, battery usage comes into play. Perhaps you could install a battery on/off switch as well. If, however, you are using the same preamp and different pickups, I think an on/on switch prior to the preamp is in order. Don't hold me to any of this, though.

You can use a 3-way (lever or mini-toggle) to select which pickup (bridge/both/Prestige) is being fed to the OP-Pro.

Running the pickups parallel provides a sonic option. Running them in series... experiment and tell me what happens. I never tried it, but just due to the properties of piezo crystals, I don't think it would work, or if it did, the result would not be musical.
