hi guys

1.I read about ovation guitars on ovation website. There are pictures and prices and it is ok to me. Unfortunately there is little about characteristic of each brand, what makes particular brand distinctive when compared to the other one. I would like to know for instance in what ways applause brand is different from collectors etc. Have you guys ever come across some kind of guide for ovation guitars where one can find details about brands? By the way, what is this dj ashba product? are these regular guitars?
2. Are all non american ovations of poor quality?

1. Read lots of stuff on here, use the "search" function to look up model numbers/descriptions and you'll find a wide range of opinions.
2. No, but a good rule of thumb is that they aren't as good. They can still be good value for money.

Here is a link to decades worth of Catalogs on Ovation Tribute

Many are in different languages, but the photos are nice and informative.

While you are there, look around and enjoy this Labor of Love by Jerome.
