it has a mic, under saddle, and mag pup
It certainly was not a cheap pickup $599 list its DC but found NOS $199
Its coming installed a 1969 Fender Malibu I ordered yesterday.
Finally found one! Its fair condition but hey it was on $325 It has finish cracks in it.
These were made in Santa Ana Ca. designed ex-Rickenbacker employee Roger Rossmeisel.
Bolted on electric neck, no neck hump. The Malibu is "00" sized body. It has traditional saddle as opposed to metal adjustable one. It does not have the "tone bar" that was panned in the Kingman. These were not cheap guitars $240 list. These are not the same as Harmony-built F-Series acoustic guitars that sold for $32.95.
If really like it maybe I will have it refinished in black .... childhood memories of Johnny Cash....

Interesting enough JC gave away hundreds of guitars to friends including the one famous slot head 12 fret in the "The Finger" picture... He still had the Malibu when he passed away.
