Serial Number Help

Hi Everyone, so I just recently inherited an Ovation Applause AE-128 and would like to know the year it was made, only thing is, it has a 7 digit serial number that I can't seem to find a way to decode. The serial number is 4731718 if anyone can help me out, much appreciated.

Location: Boise, Idaho		I have never heard of anyone being able to translate an Applause serial number into a date.

Location: the BIG Metropolis of TR		Sorry msjj48 but the serial number decoder system only applies to U.S. made Ovations.
I'm not even sure the factory can tell you anything about the imports and the year they were made.....
