| Hi Folks,
First, thank you allowing me to join in the forum. It's been fun perusing the forums on the subject of all things Ovation!
My collection at the moment consists of six models: A natural Balladeer Deluxe 1112, A Black 1667 Legend cutaway, a "whiteface" Balladeer 1111-6, A Sunburst Balladeer Deluxe 1112, a natural Elite 1537, and my most recent edition, the 1111-2 C196. With the exception of the 1111-2, all of my Balladeers have been retrofitted with professionally installed Martin thinline gold plus pickups and a volume knob on the upper bout.
On a whim, I recently picked up the 1111-2 at a local guitar shop, primarily because of the sound but i was intrigued at the unique bridge and Kluson tuners which as I understand were both standard on this model, albeit short-lived.
However I've decided that I've always wanted a 1651, and that I'm very Balladeer heavy in my collection. So, I'm posting some pics of the 1111-2 in hopes that someone may be interested in buying it and adding it to their own collection. It's in incredible shape especially considering its age. I'd like it to go to a fan that would appreciate it.
Plus the funds would go toward my quest for that elusive 1651 should I be lucky enough to find one :-)
I'm think of $500 plus shipping and I have a hardshell case for it. Price is negotiable...and who knows? Maybe I can be talked into a trade! |

You might want to include a detailed description of any condition issues. One note, that's a -4 (you listed it as -2). Looks like a nice early Balladeer. Excellent!
