Location: Vancouver, WA | I need help in trying to figure out weather or not a case that a Balladeer (model 1771 )came in , will fit my Ultra (model 2171 )with a contour back . the guy selling the case say's that his Balladeer was a medium size bowl. mine is a deep/contour...anyone with any info about this situation or a way to figure it out, PLEASE let me know......thanks. |

I have a couple of 9158 cases... Y'know? The nifty ones with 'Ovation' in the lid fur?
My contour bowls will fit in some of them, but not others.
And supposedly they are all 9158's.
I know that this was no help whatsoever, but...
And depending on which model Balladeer he had, the bowl could be ANY size! :mad: |

Location: Phoenix AZ | 1771 most likely came in the brown shitty case in which case (NPI) your Ultra will not fit. Ovation does a terrible job with cases. They spec the cheapest pieces of shit you can imaging and you can never figure out which ones fit which guitars. That's OK for the cheap guitars but for the higher end stuff they should do better. |
