Had a bit of a look around, sure I could find the answer somewhere but why look elsewhere when there is so much knowledge and information here?

Question: Elite Special, Balladeer Special, they look simpler/less expensive version but what is the difference?

Got some great weather here.

2 piece neck vs. 5, no fretboard inlays, standard hardware... no frills.

At the time, it was a way to offer a USA Ovation for a lower price.

Then the T came along and made the "Special" a mute point.

Now the T has gone to Korea and the issue of getting a lower priced USA Ovation has become a mute point.
