Location: Atlanta | Hey guys! I just picked up a blue sumburst 83 Ultra. It's fun and sounds great!
Unfortunately, the battery pack inside has been modified. The battery pack clip (held in by a screw on the side) is bent out of place and can no longer be held in place by the screw. I would like to reform the clip into place, but I don't know what shape it should take. Can anyone take a photo of the clip on the battery pack? Thanks!
Also, in case it won't work, any recommendations on where to get a replacement pack/clip?

Location: Pacific Northwest Inland Empire | Haven't got an instrument with the battery pack like yours, but have, in the past. The slot in the battery case is a female version of the holding screw, which is essentially "T"-shaped on the end, and pressed through the slot in the metal plate case, then turned 90-degrees, to lock the assembly. -I --> II --> I= |
