Location: Archbald, PA | I had a T5 2 years ago and got rid of it because it wasn't a true Hybrid A/E like my Hamer Duotone. Recently I went on a mission to give the T5 another chance because the build quality and feel are so good on these instruments. I traded to get a very clean trans black T5, bought a D-TAR Wavelenght Acoustic Pickup and had a guitar tech install under the saddle. A 2nd separate output was added right next to the original. This pickup makes the T5 actually sound like an acoustic, not plastic sounding as it does with the original electronics and with no quack. I control the under saddle volume with a volume control foot pedal. I run this to my acoustic amp and then to the PA. The original electronics/output I run to my guitar amp. After all that I am not using the guitar much since I am playing more solo acoustic gigs than band gigs. So here is my modified T5 up for sale.
I am asking $1,450 shipped. It is in new condition with no dings or issues. Has OHSC. I may be open to trade offers especially if you have a Hamer Duotone 12-string. Email me for pictures.
Thanks,
John
