As you can see I have a few things on here listed for sale. I'm only selling because I'm trying to fund the purchase of an Adamas 2080.

As with the PA speaker I have for sale I bought this at the same time. You can do just about anything you can imagine on this thing. The Boss GT-8 is in new condition and comes with original box, power supply and partial manual(didn't have one in the box...go figure) I paid a little over $400 for this in August. I'll sell it for $300. +shipping.

If anyone is interested in the both the PA speaker and this Boss GT-8 let me know and maybe we can work out a package deal.

I was just talking to Miles yesterday about this unit.

I was telling how I read that "Shredder Extraordinaire" Nuno Bettencourt of extreme uses one of these, pretty much exclusively, live. He plugs it into a poweramp, and then it goes off to the speakers. Pretty sweet easy setup.

His reasoning was that they play so many different songs that are very different from one another that there's no way any amp rig could do it.

I'm also a big Boss/Roland/Edirol proponent. Usually if I have a choice of similar units, and one's a Roland product, that's the one I go with. They've been sampling sounds as long if not longer than anyone else. I have products that are 15-20 years old that I still use today, many of which have still not been topped by the competition.

Good luck with the sale. I've wanted one for a long time, but with my recent acquisition of a Vox AD120VT and longboard, it's no longer a need.

You can customize just about any sound you want on this, I've only begun to scratch the surface. I run my guitar to the Boss to my powered monitor, sounds great. I decided to buy this and the Behringer powered speaker because I couldn't find an amp that I liked.
