| With all the talk about Ovation/Adamas 12 strings, it seems this model doesn't always get discussed that much. So, how good is it? |

Location: Phoenix AZ | It's a very nice guitar. I've played both the single and double epaulet versions. They say Ovations get no respect. That probably applies double for this model. I doubt the signature on it helps sales. Dave |

Location: Lebanon, TN | I really liked my ME-1598 Mark I that I had. A beautiful balanced bass in the singing ringing sound Ovation 12's are reknowned. I would have no hesitation picking up either version if the conditions were right.....soo many guitars so little money LOL. |

Location: Michigan | I own an Adamas 1598-MERB and I got to tell ya that the sound of it is louder and fuller than any other 12 string that I have played .The sustain is incredible. I cannot speak for the 1598-MERB-11 version for I have not played or heard one yet.Mine is set up low and it plays and sounds better than the $5000.00 Woodboxes that I have played at the stores. If you ever get the chance to pick one up Im sure that you will be extremly impressed with the guitar.GWB |
