Location: Pennsylvania | I've done some work to fix most of the buzzing, but it still has a whistle to it when I strum. I may send it out to Ovation to have them do some work on it.
Regardless, it's a great guitar with a great sound. I love how it just pumps the sound out!
An opportunity to get a deep bowl came along, and I took it. It's a deep bowl, non cutaway, custom balladeer. I'm going to use that now, and give the elite t to my brother, who badly needs a good guitar. I'll still get to see it and play it--once Ovation fixes it up, it should be about flawless. I hope yours is treating you well!

Location: Pennsylvania | Well, he needed one--he's had a beat-up epiphone for a while but couldn't really afford something else.
Since I always play acoustic, I knew I didn't really need the fancy new preamp or the cutaway, and I also knew that the deep bowl lend itself to me always playing acoustic, so I decided the elite t would be best for him.
He's totally thrilled about getting the elite t (I told him today).
Actually, I'm about as excited for my custom balladeer to come in! I cant wait to hear it.
With the different depth, neck shape and finish, soundhole, etc, it's going to be a whole different ball game.
Another thing I'll have to get used to again is smudging!
It's funny buying an 12 year old guitar, I wonder what's been played on it and where it's come from. Where did those dings and scratches come from? Hmm...the muse of used guitars...
