Location: Houston | HI there,
I'm so glad to have found this website. I have a new question as a new member.
I'm looking for a new E-A nylong string guitar. I found this floor model Ovation s773-4 for $399 (without case), which is being listed for $1150. It's still come with factory warranty.
It's too good to be true, so I asked the saleman. He doesn't know much about this particular model. He only said "for whatever weird reason, the Ovation nylon E-A just didn't sell well". I hate to pass up a good deal, but just couldn't find any review on this model to cancel a nagging suspicion. The guitar looks and feel goods. If I buy it, what do I need to look for.
Can anyone of you share info on reviews or your experience with it. I'm only an amateur singer-songwriter and am now want a new guitar I can do 1-man show with.
thank you in advance,
Ngueyn |

That particular guitar is a less expensive version of Ovation's current Country Artist (a special order only guitar). The S773 is a mid bowl instrument with a cedar top. It's a good guitar and $399 is a very good price for it.
Take a look at this auction on ebay

Also, several have recently sold on ebay so look under completed auctions for more information. Two that I found sold for $300-$400.
