No really, thanks to electronic filing of income tax returns I was able to go pay off my NEW OVATION :D today during my lunch break!
That's right no more posts of "...when I get it out of lay-away..."
I am now the proud owner of an Ovation Legend 1867 #563985.
It has blue sparkle finish
(which I can only find listed on the Ovation web site as an option for this model, so I'm counting that as special).
As you can tell, I'm somewhat giddy and am not getting any work done at my job this afternoon - my new guitar is right here next to me in the cubicle just begging to get home.
Our band has rehearsal tonight so I can't wait for the debut.
:D :D :D :D :D |

Great News, Paul!
CONGRATS!!!
Try to keep the S.E.G. off your face during practice tonight, will'ya? (it always a cause of concern for the other bandmates)
. . . and post a PIC!! |

Pics to come soon, I attempted to take a couple tonight after rehearsal, but my lighting right now sucks or it's because I'm still giddy (or grinning illegally)...
Nonetheless, I LIKE PLAYING THIS GUITAR :D
Man, it's beautiful and plays sweet. I can feel the care and workmanship that went into it.
Maybe it's Great Expectation's but it's attaining a new level for me already.
"It's only the begining...."
