My Adamas SMT has arrived. It's a 2nd hand one in very good condition from Al.
I've been very happy with it so far (three days haha) and i'm really satisfied I sold the Ultra to buy this one.
It took the assembled postal services and dutch customs over a month to get it here, but overall it was in good shape when it reached me. It looks, sounds and plays beautiful and even my girlfriend thinks it's a justified investment in a guitar and did not even protest when I mentioned the next project... a 12-string (i'll have to work on the finances first :( ).
Tried it this afternoon with my band and they admitted it sounded good and that it's the first one they hear which sounds as good acoustically as amplified... Mind you, they don't usually listen to acoustics.
Thnx for all for your enthousiastic reviews on Ovations and Adamases, you all convinced me. Guess I'm suffering from GAS now as well...
So far, so good, gotta go now, gotta play.
