Location: Phoenix AZ | Does anyone know why the fretboard on a classical guitar is flat? Is there some technical reason or is it just legacy. Dave |

Location: Las Cruces, NM | Classical guitars are played like a piano, the guitarists are taught to press the strings straight down with each finger, not in a death grip such as I use. Straight down means flat fret board. |
