Just a note to ask if anybody has a spare old silver Ovation catalog "The guitars of the Stars".
I will be happy to pay for one.
I am also looking for one of those old blue Ovation straps, the one with the rosette leaves design.
Please let me know and also if this kind of posts should go in the Sell/Trade section, I apologize if it does and will respect this space in the future for other general postings if this is the case.

Location: NJ | The catalog may be fairly easy to come by.
The straps however are very few and far between.
They show up eBay infrequently for exhorbitant amounts. I'd LOVE to get at least ONE brown one (used to have one long ago), but haven't seen any. Don't remember blue ones. |

Location: Scotland | The woven strap came in blue & 2 or 3 shades of dark red/brown and a couple of other colours. The leather version came in black, white & brown in 2 thicknesss. I have a white one which cost me way too much but it's very cool. The woven versions are pretty cool too but appear to be even rarer than the leather straps. I've seen maybe 2 woven straps on ebay in the last 3 years |

| I have given up on finding an Ovation strap. I was going to have acouple made that match the two slightly different color Adamas's I have. While I was at it I thought a nice baseball Hat would be nice. I figure I can get a woven strap in white and in beige - match the color on the guitar at the paint shop - airbrush the center of the strap - have the leaf patterns embroidered on it with the little Ovation guitar symbol? Ovation could make a good buck if they would come up with a small run of these straps, nicely done! Randy |
