Location: kentucky | I am trying to find out what year my guitar was made. Its a model 1712 Custom Balladeer. I went to the Ovation website and tried to date it, but it says that my guitar was made in 1967. I doubt it is that old. Could someone help me out in trying to date this thing. Thanks. |

Location: Carle Place, NY | Check the serial number and use the Ovation web site to accurately date the guitar. As a general rule, if the oval label inside the guitar is blue it was made in the '80s and if the label is white it was made in the '90s. |
