So there are: (in the most basic standards)

Adamas 1 - Textured carbon top, carved headstock and bridge, comes in wide and regular neck
Adamas 2 - Textured carbon top, NO carved headstock and bridge, comes in wide and regular neck
*** BOTH Adamas I and II have the Suspension Ring

SMT - Smooth gloss top, plywood insert - thicker
CVT - CrossWeave top, birch insert - thinner
*** BOTH SMT and CVT have the Suspension Ring

UTE - textured carbon top, NO suspension ring, wider neck 12 and 6 string versions

Slothead can be used with nylon or steel strings
Peghead can be used with Steel string only
Classical - nylon only

Please correct anything I have wrong.

Location: Boise, Idaho		You missed a couple of the most recent ones, most notably the wood topped Adamas. I can't remember much about those, other than that I loved the one I played at a roadshow.
Also, they never put any classical Adamas guitars into production. I think there was one prototype or one off with nylon strings that Jerome or somebody over there had. Maybe OMA will look it up for lazy me as soon as he finishes basking in his fame and glory.

LOL!!!! I have smoke coming out my ears, I think my brain is overheating... it is definitely not been used this much in a couple of years! LOL!!!

I am feeling much better about understanding some of the terms and models, MUCH more than just a few days ago! Thank you all SO MUCH for your help! Now when I read your posts about different models, I will have a much better understanding of what you are talking about, and can see it in my head!

Location: SoCal		As far as the 'wood topped Adamas', other than how we described the 1537, I believe that these were prototypes for the road shows and not a production item. As to the 2081WT w/hand laid bowl, like many others I have never seen one let alone played one. For a $5,399 msrp (advertised new for $3,627 on Amazon), not sure how many were produced.

Prior posts were not in favor of the nylon Adamas or the non-epaulet style sound holes.

OK not to further redline your brain but
SMT is the thicker birch center with thinner unidirectional carbon fiber outer plies
CVT is a thinner poplar center with slightly thicker cross-weave outer plies
Niether has a suspension ring
Plywood is reserved for Applause and Celebrity models LOL
