I just like mindless tv sometimes to relieve day to day job pressure of seeing children that were murdered by parents; teenage girls prostituted out by their mother due to a drug addiction; or what have you. I do get away to that special place and watch Mr. Roger's every so often and go to Make Believe Land! Heck, I stay in make believe land who am I kidding....LOL! I do prefer the movie over reading but I am a visual person. There are alot of folks like me that are visual. In fact most men are that way. The only book I ever saw fit to read cover to cover is the Bible. Other than that most are a waste of my time but that is for me and in no way means one that likes to read is wasting their time. And yes, I read Playboy for the articles and not the pictures......once again, who am I kidding! LMAO!

There is soooo much out there to choose from that you don't have to watch anything that you don't absolutely enjoy. Do the DVR thing for convience and to avoid commercials. Pick & choose. If your spouse really likes something, find enough interest to watch it together. Learn a little, think a little, laugh a little, cry a little. Anyone else watching AMC's Breaking Bad?

I am expendable according to the government and go in to do these things. Hey..........I like playing with explosive chemicals and such! I told you guys I was half loaded!

I've tried turning my bandmates, my students, my wife, my friends on to ATHF, and they just don't get it. At all. I tried telling them that if you need to "get it" then you don't get it. But that didn't help. I own every "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" DVD set. Best episode ever - Season 6 "Bible Fruit" Notice the end credits? Master Shake is a Gibson endorsee.
