I think the FD-14 is not made to be a work-horse. But I must tell you: As it arrived, I tuned it up and played it for a while, it really sounded great. Today I picked it up and played it and I was really blown away. The day of acclimating here was like a wonder, it was sounding.... therefore I have no words. That is another world. Bernie | ||

Bernie I will post pictures as soon as I get it. It's due sometime late July to middle of August. It's not really "custom" per say as I'm only having the color changed and a couple other little things done. They are only available in natural and I wanted it with a tobacco burst so I put in a custom order for tobacco burst. I also asked that since it was going through the "custom shop" to make sure the action was low and all the frets leveled,(If needed) ebony turner buttons etc...nothing major though. I can't wait to get it and I will be sure to post pics when I do. Congrats again on your new axe... | ||

Joined: December 2004 Posts: 49 Location: Illinois | That was one of the "couple other little things" I was going to have done as well. I've got a bone saddle and nut on my Guild (Came with it) and I think it makes a huge difference. | ||
