I'm at Seminary for the week to finish my last New Testament class...I graduate in May...I brought my 08 C in case we had Chapel and they needed some music...but my Professor asked me to do some of my own songs and several appropriate cover tunes to show another aspect to teaching: by using music to communicate. Everyone is blown away by the 08 C and I must admit, it feels really good to be playing something no one else has ever seen or heard...I can't say enough about this guitar! If you're even thinking about it, go for it: you will never regret it. Well, got to go: 82 pages left to read tonight before tomorrow! No rest for the weary! ;) :D

Weary?

My favorite version of Worried Man is the Devo version. Probably would go over like a lead balloon, but a bluegrass version of that makes me smile.

Phil, guess it would have brought a different response...good one!

Bobbo's sandals would have certainly fit in with our discussion about John the Baptizer however!

It was a perfectly innocent question. Is the baptist known as the Baptizer over there?

No, but I've heard him called before. In truth, it's probably a more accurate translation of how he was referred to in his time.

"Perfectly innocent" he said politely? Wait a minute...
Get off that computer before I tell your father you've been posting under his name...

I'll ask my sister - she's doing a theology degree and has had to learn New Testament Greek and Old Testament Hebrew. Most people move to Florida when they retire......

Yes, it's the most accurate description of what he did. Check out this site They explain in the 4th paragraph. These people are in Europe somewhere, so it's a little closer to home for you.
