I've taken it to mean that the thought's got you ticked off enough that you hung up, just as you would with a phone. Am I interpreting this correctly??
If I'm not, I know one of you will take me aside and kindly enlighten me.....

Bingo. Jeff clicked off because he thinks he has too much class to deal with Best Buy.

We all know better. He's just as classless as the rest of us.....

They can put them right next to the Starcaster Starter Pack...

I think they the would have done better to 'copy & paste' the description like everybody else...
You figure that somewhere in their offic they have a kid who knows something about guitars who could create that listing.

I ain't complaining about BB carrying them...
Like was said... It beats some poor kid getting an Esteban for Christmas.
(although they do come with a DVD lesson course)

add-on; I just looked, and they got Taylors too! :p

In a way, it's good&all that it "gets the guitar's out there" and the recipients will likely "upgrade" . . .

. . . but I think it just kinda' widens the increasingly indiscernible grey line between these & the US models . . .

. . when the kid eventually goes into a guitar store (or online), he/she'll likely discount Ovations as
"the starter guitar my parents bought me at BestBuy".

Bob Taylor thanks you . . .

I think it's great. A solid top Ovation in a non-music store. Like Beal said this is likely to attract new guitarists. A good (i.e. playable) guitar will increase the chances that the person sticks at it. This brand loyalty will help sell higher end Ovations in years to come. (Worked for me)

My son really wants one of those "Police Line Do Not Cross" guitar straps. We saw them when we were in The States but he didn't buy one and now regrets it because he can't find one over here.
I used to use this tape to ring my stage set-up at gigs years ago...worked to keep curiosity seekers/tire kickers/thieves away...the "Police Line...Do Not Cross" got them to thinking...some club owners didn't see the humor...too bad! :D

I hope this was before you were playing in church, Mike.
And Jeff, that was "gas". It only rhymes with class.

I dont know if having Best Buy selling an Ovation is good for the reputation of Ovation guitars.
I can hear it now over the PA in B.B.............
Would someone from Washers & Dryers please come to the Guitar Room for customer service.
Thank You.Sorry Best Buy is not the place to sell Ovations IMHO I think that it just degrades O's again to a low end cheapy guitar. The values will go down even further when the name Ovation gets tagged at Best Buy stores.GWB

Who the hell cares. Will they be selling strings cheap? That's all I care about. They're closer than my nearest music store.
