Kind of cool to see that Adamas/Ovation built a guitar for Jol right around the time Kaman Corp. acquired Hamer guitars (1988). I guess Jol returned the favor later on when he suposedly (according to the Hamer serial number database) had a custom green Hamer Duotone built for Bill Kaman back in the mid-90's. That is one sharp looking Adamas for sure!

I suppose we could ask Bill Kaman if it's true.

Naw. He'd never stoop to talk to the likes of us. He's like, a god, or a super-hero, or something. I doubt he ever comes around here.

He probably doesn't remember anything about this guitar. Must be getting old, suffering from demensions.

I know that feeling. Lately I've been suffering from increasing dimensions in the X and Y axes, but not so much in the Z axis. :(

Well it's back again.....
New BLUE BOY Auction

RELISTED DUE TO NON-PAYMENT BAD BIDDER

Bad bidder is/was "printman29" from the Old BLUE BOY Auction
If you look in "printman29" and "guitarmanvintage"
(seller's) feedback (around Oct'05) you'll see they have done "business" a few times in the past (both live in France also) and no negative/nonpayment feedback left for printman29.....

....Hmmmmm,I wonder if printman29 is bidding in the new auction!! Since ebay now hides the bidders names you'll never know! (unless he "wins" again :D )

I actually posted the "Adamas I C/A on eBay" topic yesterday about this very guitar. I must have missed the first couple of auctions on this thing.

Here's my last post in that topic:

I noticed a 24 fret neck. I also noticed that the holes in the epaulets on the cutaway side are closer to cutaway edge of the bowl than the ones on my Adamas are. The cutaway epaulet also looks to be cut off at the top, once again compared to mine.

It's too bad that this thing appears to be a suspect-at-best auction, but it also sounds like this person wants $5K+.

It also looks like the new auction is the original Hotelito auction page with additional text in it.

". . Nobody can force you to sell something against your will . ."

I'm sure there are several generations of NativeAmericans (and a few inhabitants of Briney Breezes, FL) who'll argue that point . . .
