Is OFC always so mean spirited?
I love my Ovation Guitars but...
Anyway, I had the '97 for sale in the Seattle area and wanted to sell it in person as CL advises. I bought it sight unseen a few years ago and the neck is too narrow for me.
Actually it's very nice except the D string's tuning peg handle which just cracked. I'll need to replace it. After checking it out for Fletcher, your guy said it was worth more on OFC than I was asking.
I think maybe the negativity is misplaced.
Happy Holidays to all

Absolutely... NOT! We support each other in our quests for our beloved Ovations/Adamii and pertinent information . When we perceive an outside 'attitude', we tend to rally.

In fact, you'll probably not find a tighter group on the web. Poke around a bit and you'll find numerous acts of kindness, sharing, giving and support.

We also have our differences, like most 'families', that can get interesting, to say the least.

So if you're an Ovation lover, then welcome and hang around for a plateful of info.

And Happy Holidays to you also!

I'd still like to find a narrow neck '97 Collector in good condition.

If anyone has a line on one, be sure to let me know.

fletcher,

Ya might want to post a 'Wanted' here. I don't think this post is gonna get much more participation.

There's still a nos one at the Music Outlet in TN. Don't know what they're down to on it now, but they had it priced quite high a year ago. Might be worth giving them a call.

Sounds great.

But "Music Outlet in TN" doesn't give me enough info to be able to contact them.
