Paint is in B= condition. Pickups are original, in good condition. Tremolo works. It misses original Fender plate on back, but neck is dated december 1968. It's all fine but... i didn't found any reason, why i should go to work for next 4 months just to pay for that guitar. I borrowed Yamaha Pacifica from my friend, and - to be honest - i didn't hear very big difference. I was playing on Hughes & Kettner Edition 1 60W amp which is pretty decent. To be honest - i think prices for those guitars on e-bay are FAR to high. Maybe i'm just electric-guitar-ingorant, i dunno. If i had 1,500$ to spend right now i'd buy AER 60W Combo and wood for making my own guitar. Ps. It's dark-red

Plus you had the chance to play one for a day. There are plenty of things you can spend that money on. Like rent, food and/or women.

If you decided in the end that you didn't like it, you could sell it for 10 to 15 times that amount. Get it and learn to love it later!

Guy who imported it didn't pay tax etc. but for any sale outside of Poland, you need to get permission from heritage conservator, which is very hard to get.

Congrats! just bought it for $1100. for this price it would be stupid not to buy it. Yesterday, I went to We Buy Guitars, located at Bellmore in Long Island to have my guitar for a set-up. After John finished working on it, he showed me their gallery, and all I could say was "wow!" I was staring at a room full of vintage guitars [electrics mostly]. There were strats in there that were selling for 20 grand and more. The folks there even demo-ed, briefly, a '59 Les Paul that has a $1/2 mil price tag -- sounds like joke, but that's really what the guitar's selling for. Back to the topic, in light of what I experienced during my visit at the above-mentioned music store, your purchase was a darn good one. Enjoy it for many, many years to come. :) p.s. -- for OFC members in the NYC and LI area, who need their guitars serviced / set-up every now and then, I recommend John at We Buy Guitars. I'm very happy with the job that he did on mine.
