As for the story about Glen buying the guitar for Brian Ahern...there is no reason to doubt the story, Brian is a very respected music producer and would not likely have any reason to lie about it...and you're getting it directly from Brian so the story is pretty much straight from the source, as it were. Glen has always been pretty enthusiastic about Ovations and would often buy one for a musician friend or even give them one of his personal guitars. The Emmylou and Johnny Cash connection is very cool, too. The bottom line is that you got an nice early Adamas in great condition for the cost of a reissue...how can you go wrong? Enjoy! Wayne

I checked the story about the legendary producer,Brian Ahern, I am pretty sure the seller would not tell a lie. However I will always love this guitar. Nice to have your information. Enjoy. povation

I understood your reference to lawyers as being complimentary, but many of our non-lawyer friends on this site might not agree. I was trying to think of one of the regular posters on this site that you could always take literally, but I couldn't come up with one. You have to assume that most of us are about half full of BS, except when we say you have a great photo gallery. That is 100% true.
