You said you just wanted to see what we said first. It was an attempt to set us up. Very rude. To you we are just a bunch of blind "fan boys." It took alot of nerve to mention us in such a negative way in your letter to Ovation. Members here have offered help and advice and opinion and you will have none of it. You are acting like a 4 year throwing a fit about a piece of candy. *I WANT.....I WANT* Please sell you Ovations to someone. You will be surprised how much you can get for such "inferior" guitars. My point was just saying, “hey the warranty should be addressed in a different way” and everybody was almost KILLING me with different reasons… Why last minute pictures? Easy, if I were getting solved my problem w/o using them why should I humiliate a good company showing those pics? Everybody makes mistakes, but it’s good when everybody solves those mistakes… Thanks Pat

Joined: August 2003 Posts: 396 | Masotta, some boardmembers do tend to favor "the company" very frequently here, but almost everyone here has slammed them here or there as well. Personally, I don't think they do enough to promote their finest guitars, and many of their ads make no sense to me (The Q ads made no sense to me, and now a full page ad for the anniversary issue when they only made 300 -- and they're now sold out as far as I know. Why didn't they do an Adamas cvt/smt ad series instead of the Q which is not made; why didn't they do a full page ad for the Lx models which they are making, rather than a full page ad for the 30th anniversary which someone probably won't even be able to find? Make ads for guitars people CAN buy. Duh! So, I don't favor the company on every issue! So, I can tell you truly that I think you are absolutely wrong on this one and your repeated argument isn't changing anyone's mind. You presented your argument.. that wasn't the problem. People responded, as did I, telling you that they felt you were incorrect. Yet, you kept coming back with the same argument. The company has responded as well. Judgement... sorry, you lose this one. Drop the issue on the board and deal with your next move, not just a rehash of the argument you keep losing. Now, you could be a contributing member to this board or you can keep bringing up an argument you will continue to lose, and you can take more abuse from people as well. I felt a few people may have jumped on you early, but you're just being ridiculous now.

Joined: March 2004 Posts: 30 | Slipkid This is the e-mail that I’ve sent back to the OVATION customer support, I’m just waiting now, I’ll post their answer. _________________________ Well you didn't say your name Mr/Ms/Mss The answer that you gave me does not make me happy at all. The defect is clearly showed in the pictures, could you please give me in advance a cost estimation and a description of the reparation procedure. Thanks Pat _________________________ Englishplayer I’ve really enjoyed reading your post, wise words. But do you really consider that I’ve lost? I don’t think so. Do you really consider “ridiculous” a person claiming for what he thinks is fair? Well I respect your point of view and I beg your pardon if my postings irritated you or other person in any way, that wasn’t my intention. But I consider I have the right to say what I’ve said, once, twice or one millions times, in this board, in newsgroups, in my future own web page just dedicated to this issue or whatever it takes to solve my problem. Thanks Pat

However, you posted "But I consider I have the right to say what I’ve said, once, twice or one millions times, in this board, in newsgroups, in my future own web page just dedicated to this issue or whatever it takes to solve my problem." and this is not 100% correct. This particular board is not a "public" board but rather a private board that is open to the public as long as those individuals follow some general guidelines basically just be kind to each other. THIS GOES FOR EVERYONE NOT JUST Massota. You have stated your problem, and even a clear desire of what you think outcome should be. Most here do not seem to agree with you, and you are becoming disruptive. If you have a problem with Ovation, I suggest you take it up with them. We are just a bunch of fans and have no impact on getting you anything. If you continue to just disrupt the community, you will be removed. I'd really hate to do that. You are an Ovation enthusiast, and you are standing up for what you believe in. What's wrong with that? Nothing. But you asked your questions and got your answers, there is nothing else. I'm sorry if it's not satisfactory to you, but the subject is closed along with this thread.
