Check out guitar5000 on YT. Reggie has a drum skin? on his guitar, and a link to Ovation guitars.

Today, i was channel surfing on my TV, and came across a horror movie spoof entitled, "SLASH/BACK", on APTN (A PBS-style TV network for First Nations here in CANADA), and in one scene at the local drop-in centre, an Inuit guy is playing a sunburst OVATION Custom Legend LX. The film was shot in 2024, in PANGNURTUK, NVT, which is well above THE ARCTIC CRCLE, so OVATION guitars are apparently, still un-killable, and now just everywhere!!

Being originally conceived as a space-age guitar, could the ISS, and dare I say it, possibly even the moon, be the next place someone will soon spot an OVATION guitar? Just thinkin' out loud.

Hey, tpa, That someone was Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield playing a Larrivee P-01, a Canadian guitar, but sadly, not an OVATION.

ICYMI, check out Neil Diamond playing an OVATION Legend on, "Dry Your Eyes", with The Band during THE LAST WALTZ on YT!! Apparently, he sang it on a dare from Bob Dylan, no less. "Beat that!" said Bob to Neil after his last song. So Neil did. And my fellow CANADIAN, Robbie Robertson co-wrote the song, too!! Beauty, eh?

In the past 2 days , I've see the OVATION ADAMAS / ELITE multi-sound hole design used at least twice on 2 different album cover on my local cable TV music channel yet again!! It seems to have grown an atomic half life since its inception in 1976, and I doubt very much that the graphic designers who use it presently know anything about its origins with OVATION guitars, but CHARLIE AND BILL created an icon for sure. ICYMI check out, "THE CANADIAN FLATPICKER" on YT. He uses an OVATION CELEBRITY ELITE.
