Location: Boise, Idaho | I'm not criticizing you for buying them, TJ, just for selling them. I still have some storage space in the basement, but I've slowed down to only 3 in the past 18 months or so. I'd rather violate SWMBO's moratorium than go to a one in one out rule. |

Location: South of most, North of few | Well my only barrier is the $$ thing. When the guitar/mad money account runs low, I have to part with something to get another. I know I should start keeping them, but I only keep the ones that I really bond with. It's the "grass is always greener" syndrome. Besides, I like to pass them on and explore others. My wife feels lucky I've kept her for so long. Of course, changing wives is a much more expensive venture... |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I keep telling my wife she needs to get rid of me for a newer model, since she likes to replace everything else once she gets tired of it. I just hate to let anything go. I don't have a guitar account, though. That may be a good thing. |

Location: Pewaukee, WI | This is a local dealer here in the Milwaukee area. Reputable, and carries a lot of vintage stuff. Also has a whole room devoted to Gretsch.
My 1627 RI has a very light center stripe also; I got it when Music 123 had a brain fade a year or so ago ($999 new, shipped; went back up to $1800+ shortly thereafter). |
