Location: Los Angeles | There's a store about 20 miles away from me that has D'Angelicos. All they had were bronze wound. I ordered some cheap strings from WebStrings.com for $3.24 a set. Figured I'd give 'em a try since I've tried the others. D'Angelico wants $12 a set online. NOT! |

Location: Eaton, Indiana | I started using Elixer Polywebs several years ago. They have a smooth feel and much less finger noise. Someone mentioned Nashville Straights. Oh yah! I was around back then. Great strings but really hard to get in the guitar case :>
It has been said it will never get well as long as your picking it. I hope they weren't referring to the guitar...

Location: Detroit Mi | I started with Black Diamond telegraph cables because that's all they sold at only the music store I could walk to, then went to Darco (when they were still Long Island Music String), then to Gretsch, Guild and then John Pearse PB. |

Location: Lakewood, Ohio | Whats the heaviest guage tolerable on an Adadmas? I have a set of 13s (top E)that I might try, might boost the projection a bit, but my Adamas is currently strung with either 11s or light bottom 12s. For that matter, what string guage does the factory use? |
