I ran into elem enopy (sp?) at a local convenience store and asked about the Adamas that was supposedly given to him. He said he''s not interested in the 4 or 5 hour drive to get it since it's a plain model, no carved headstock or bridge! HE'S HOLDING OUT FOR A MULTI HOLE Elite. I asked about buying it and he said he told the owner to sell it and thinks one of her family members has it now. The boy definitely isn't up on his Ovation desirable guitars!

Dave... track that sucker down. Could still be a great deal to be snatched up if it's still merely bouncing around the family.

Did you ever do anything about this? I wouldn't feel guilty about buying it for whatever she asks. You told her what is is worth and she doesn't care. I sold a 1954 Martin D-28 to a friend for 3500 dollars I and he both know what it is worth.
Don't let someone shame you for bottom feeding because it's not and they would do the same thing if the opportunity would present itself. It's just not their turn.
If you want it buy it. Anything else is just silly.
